Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation more than 31 days before the tour date

Cancellations made more than 31 days before the scheduled tour date are eligible for a full refund, except for any non-refundable deposits or advance payments made to hotels, houseboats, or other service providers. Any such non-refundable amount will be deducted from the refund. Details of such deposits, if applicable, will be communicated at the time of booking.

Cancellation within 31 days of the tour date

For cancellations made within 31 days of the scheduled tour date, refunds will be processed in accordance with the applicable cancellation policies of the respective hotels, houseboats, and other service providers.

Where applicable, the road transportation component of the tour will be eligible for a full refund, subject to the terms agreed at the time of booking.

Cancellation within 14 days of the tour date

Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled tour date will generally be non-refundable, as arrangements with hotels, vehicles, guides, houseboats, and other suppliers may already have been confirmed and paid for.

Payment & Processing Charges

Any card payment, payment gateway, bank, or transaction charges (approximately 3.5%) and applicable GST at 5% are non-refundable and will be deducted from any eligible refund.

No-Show / Early Departure

No refund will be provided for no-shows, unused services, late arrival, or early departure after the tour or any individual service has commenced.

Exceptional Circumstances

In exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other events beyond the traveller's control, Excel India Tours may consider a refund or rescheduling request on a case-by-case basis, subject to the cancellation terms of the respective service providers.
